Addressing the demands of the new General Regulation for Data Protection, the CRIAP Institute will hold a workshop on the topic, to take place in Porto, July 3 and 4.
The goal is to prepare SMEs for the challenges that lie ahead, and which will be mandatory from May 25, 2018. Such challenges include the hiring of a Data Protection Officer - someone responsible for the company's data.
The trainer - the lawyer Ana Paula Cabral - will discuss the legal implications of the new regulation and the need for effective personal data protection, thus avoiding the heavy fines provided for by this new regulation.
You can attend the “New General Regulation for Data Protection” workshop in person or live-streaming. The event is targeted at lawyers, managers, human resources managers, teachers, administrators, senior technicians, and any other professionals working with personal data.
This training event takes place at a time when a IAPMEI survey focusing on about 1600 companies revealed that a large portion of these companies are unaware of the requirements of the new regulation. It will come into force in less than a year, and only 4.8% of the companies know their new obligations in detail.
The event will be held on the premises of the CRIAP Institute in Torre das Antas and has a cost of €72. Register here before it sells out.
